Sue Pellegrino – Company Director

As a State Registered Occupational Therapist with 38 years experience, Sue Pellegrino has an extensive background in forensic psychiatry and as an adaptations specialist working particularly to the social model of disability. In 1997, following training with the CAE and other mainstream disability organisations, Sue established Access Matters, a successful nationwide access auditing consultancy working on new build projects, HLF access plans, access statements and audit.

In 2006, Sue formed The Access Collaboration Ltd, a private commercial company, with the aim of primarily employing consultants with direct experience of disability to create collaborative networks, working with organisations, businesses and charities, to promote and develop inclusive services and facilities using a market driven business model.

Sue has particular expertise and long experience in the education and heritage sectors and is currently applying for membership of the NRAC.

Anthony Grimwade - Associate Consultant

Anthony is an architect with over thirty years of experience designing buildings for disabled people and advising on inclusive environments. He was a partner at Penton Smart & Grimwade from 1979 (incorporated with Gelder and Kitchen LLP in 2004) until he retired from the Partnership in 2006. He has provided a wide range of access consultancy services, audits, appraisals and design advice, to Local Authorities, Health Authorities, Universities, Charities and commercial organisations; and has been responsible for the design of projects in the sectors of health, nursing and residential care, education and housing.

Freydis King – Associate Consultant

Having spent 26 years with the Disability Services Commission of Western Australia, Freydis King is a State Registered occupational therapist with 38 years professional experience. She has specialised in Adult Community Care and working with people who have learning difficulties.

Freydis has further expertise in postural seating, building adaptations, & equipment provision. Freydis has trained through the CAE and other mainstream disability organizations.

Matthew Box – Associate Consultant

Since qualifying in 1995, Matthew has become a senior State Registered occupational therapist and team leader, covering the needs of people with all impairments. As an expert witness OT, he has experience in carrying out compensation claims assessments.

Matthew is the Director of Inclusion, a private occupational therapy & disability access auditing company.

Harry Pellegrino – Company Secretary

As Company Secretary, Harry Pellegrino oversees the administrative functions at our offices in Canterbury. Harry also assists in all aspects of planning, travel and audit across the UK.
