Design and Access Statements
Circular 01/06 (Communities and Local Government): Guidance on Changes to the Development Control System came into effect on August 10th 2006. This document requires that all building projects presented for Planning Permission provide a Design and Access Statement. The Access Statement looks at access in its widest sense, the aim of which is to widen participation at all levels of society.
Access Collaboration can provide the following:

- Extensive experience of working with building control officers.
- Further Access Statements to identify where Building Regulations: 2000 and Approved Document M: 2004) cannot be met and identify solutions to barriers.
