Occupational Therapy Services
The Access Collaboration has a team of registered Occupational Therapists who specialise in the various sectors. Fees are available on request.
These include:-
- Paediatrics, seating, bathing and toileting equipment
- Elderly people and elders, aids to daily living, safety and seating
- Dementia, way-finding and orientation, safety and equipment
- Neurological conditions, aids to daily living, splints and equipment
- Ergonomic assessments for the work-place
- Local Authority housing assessments for adaptations
Adaptations
Our OTs are experienced in working with clients to design bathrooms, kitchens and showers that will exactly meet your needs.
Our One stop shop can provide you with details of an approved builder/plumber in the East Kent Area.
Equipment
Occupational Therapists can help you choose equipment that will meet your current and future needs. There are so many products on the market now and knowing which will best suit you is often difficult to identify. Use our service to identify the right equipment and to arrange a home visit to discuss your needs.
A fee does apply for this service but where a free and speedy advisory service is available elsewhere, clients will always be advised of this.
We can offer recommendations for equipment or devices that are available locally or from mail-order. This is a cost effective service and site visits can be arranged for some products for you to try before deciding.
